From I Can't to I Can - Inversions Galore w/Leslie Pearlman of Good Ground Yoga in New York.  Dreaming of inversions? This special 2-hour workshop is for anyone who secretly longs to float effortlessly into a handstand—or any inversion that feels just out of reach. If you’ve ever wondered how the person in front of you seems to levitate off the mat while you’re still rooted to the ground, here’s the truth: it’s not your fault. You just haven’t had the chance to learn how to do it and practice it with focused intention. Spoiler alert: the occasional inversion thrown into your Saturday morning yoga class isn’t enough to master these poses. In this workshop, you’ll learn the drills and techniques you need to build strength, connection, and confidence.

3 Day YTT w/ Leslie Pearlman of Good Ground Yoga in New York.  Three action-packed days of real-time, direct feedback on every aspect of your teaching, so you can finally be known for your brilliant sequencing, stay-with-you nuggets of wisdom, witchy-like ability to read the room, and the most drool-worthy hands-on assists your students can’t-stop raving about. Be prepared to grow.

If you cant make the full YTT, teachers and advanced students are welcome to drop in for Morning Intensives 9am - 1pm each day of the YTT with Leslie and the ABY teaching team.

BIPOC Yoga held downtown on the mornings of January 5th, 12th and 26th. Come move, breathe, and heal together as a community.

Queer Care Sat. January 4th 11am-12pm. Led by our wonderful teacher, Summer, she will cultivate a safe and supportive space to express yourself freely through movement and breath.

Yoga Cross Training Series Join Elizabeth Monday nights 5:30-6:45pm for a cross training series focused on enhancing your winter sports! This series will focus on pre/post tissue recovery, core stabilization and general strength, therapeutic drills, mobility and more. Purchase all 4 classes for a discounted rate of $100

The light is inching back, but we still have creative darkness all around us. Let’s breathe deep.

In beauty,

Lindsey & ABY team

Thanks for submitting!

Land Acknowledgement: It is our privilege and honor at Auke Bay Yoga to live, work, and practice here on Lingít Aani, on the unceded territory of the Áak'w Kwáan who have resided in this area since time immemorial, and who have historically been displaced from what we know today as Berners Bay and the Auke Bay areas of D'zantiki Héeni, known by its colonized name of Juneau.

We would also like to recognize our relatives of the Taku River, the T'aaku Kwáan who came to reside at Anax Ya Andagan Ye' otherwise known as South Douglas, without recognizing them would further contribute to the erasure of their very existence and the many contributions they have made to this community in the past, now, and in the future. The T'aaku are our relatives, we care for them, and are thankful for the stewardships they too will continue to make in perpetuity.

Gunalchéesh to the Áak'w Kwáan for your continued stewardship and guidance as we move forward together recognizing the historical and ongoing harms of colonialism. We humbly give thanks to the land and its ancestors for their wisdom, strength, and generosity. May we honor and protect this sacred earth together for generations to come.
