June is here! And with the upcoming arrival of summer solstice we are all feeling the energetics of the season impacting us on the deepest cellular level. After the quiet introspection of winter, and the gradual thaw of spring, summer invites us into an energy of expansion- of movement, warmth, and renewed vitality. This time of year, nature shows us what it means to grow outward while staying rooted. Just like the wildflowers blooming along roadsides and eagles flying high above, we are too invited to expand, take up space, and open up to new possibilities- on and off of our mat. Light is not just something we see- it's something we feel. As we call in the season of the midnight sun, your yoga practice is a tool to channel this vibrant energy and counter balance with grounding.

Teacher Updates
Welcome new teacher Logan for the season! She will be in Juneau for the summer months teaching a seasonal Mommy & Me Yoga class and stepping in as a sub.

Why do you teach yoga?I teach yoga because I’ve seen how powerful it can be in supporting physical healing, emotional resilience, and connection - to self, to others, and to something deeper. My own journey into yoga therapy was inspired by watching loved ones navigate health challenges, and I’m especially passionate about offering yoga as a grounding, restorative practice during times of life transition - like new motherhood.
How do you want students to feel after class?I would love students to leave class feeling grounded, supported, and connected - both to their bodies, to their babies, and to a community of other new mothers. I hope they walk away with a sense of calm and clarity, and the reassurance that they’re not alone in their journey.
