Chrissy found her yoga practice after beginning nursing school, and found it so compelling she wanted to share it with as many people as she could. She has a deep passion for teaching those who feel yoga is not within their grasp for one reason or another. Her focus has always been to meet people where they are, physically and mentally. This mindset helped her thrive as a teacher, and she has specially trained in teaching classes for beginners, kids' yoga, and prenatal yoga. Her most recent training brought her to Hong Kong where she trained under Sarah Powers in the art of yin yoga as it pertains to the meridians (in Traditional Chinese Medicine), pranayama and meditation. This practice focuses on the health of our body’s organ systems and their connection to our mental and emotional well being.
